Enviro Fresh Duct Cleaning follows the NADCA protocols for air duct cleaning. The source removal method utilizes a negative air machine pulling 2,700 cubic feet of air per minute through the system. While the negative air machine is connected the technician works the cleaning tooling in the individual vents to dislodge and remove debris that is then pulled to the negative air machine. The technician may use mechanical powered brushes, air whips, and air whisks to reach deep into the ducts.
All grills, registers, diffusers, trunk lines and plenums are cleaned. The furnace blower motor and air conditioning coil are cleaned if they are accessible. Many of our competitors do not clean the blower or air conditioning coil.
The next steps are optional and only done at the customer’s request. The duct work can be sanitized and deodorized with a safe EPA approved sanitizer. An additional step is the application of Soot Set that encapsulates tar like substances such as nicotine that have adhered to the vents rendering them innocuous. The sanitizer and Soot Set are applied with a special fogging machine. The application of sanitizers and Soot Set are done after consultation with the customer.
